At Fresh Encounter Church, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Our adult ministries create welcoming environments where people can build authentic relationships, dive deeper into God's Word, and discover how their faith applies to everyday life. We strive to provide both meaningful fellowship and discipleship opportunities that help adults grow in their relationship with Christ.

Wednesday Nights at FEC: Adult Bible Study
Diving into Scripture together every Wednesday night. Our Adult Bible Study is an integral part of Wednesday Nights at FEC, our midweek program for the whole family. While children attend AWANA and youth gather for Youth Group, adults come together to study God's Word in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Our Wednesday Night Flow:
- 5:30 pm: Freewill Offering Dinner for the entire family
- 6:15 pm: All programs begin simultaneously - Adult Bible Study meets in the main gathering space, Youth Group starts in the Youth Room, AWANA Clubs begin for younger children, and nursery care is available for children ages 0-3
- 7:30 pm: Official program ends, with optional fellowship time afterward
What to Expect:
Our Adult Bible Study follows a straightforward approach:
- Scripture-Centered: We crack open the Bible, read it directly, and discuss its meaning together
- Discussion-Based: Everyone has the opportunity to share insights and ask questions
- Application-Focused: We explore how God's Word applies to our daily lives
- Relationship-Building: The study provides a space for meaningful connections with fellow believers

Saturday Morning Bible Study
Start your weekend with Scripture. Join us Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM in the conference room for Bible study and fellowship led by Kevin Bryant. This early morning gathering provides another chance to dive into God's Word in community, with a focus on deeper understanding and practical application as we dig deeper into Scripture together.
Women's Ministry
Nurturing faith and friendship among women. Our Women's Ministry meets monthly for fellowship, devotionals, and shared activities in a welcoming, supportive environment.
Monthly Gatherings Include:
- Shared meals and fellowship
- Devotional time
- Variety of activities and outings
Past Activities:
- Sourdough baking classes
- Worship nights
- Christmas caroling
- Trip to the Ark and Creation Museum
- Dairy farm outings
- And more!
These gatherings create spaces for women to build meaningful relationships while growing in their faith journey.

Men's Ministry
Building brotherhood through faith and fellowship. Our Men's Ministry brings together men of all ages for sporadic events designed to strengthen relationships and encourage spiritual growth.

Church-Wide Events
Creating memories that strengthen faith and friendships. Throughout the year, we offer special events and activities that provide unique opportunities for spiritual growth, deeper connections, and fellowship for the entire church family.
- Mystery Dinners: Participants sign up as either hosts (preparing the entrée) or guests (bringing side dishes). The night of the dinner, everyone receives a text revealing their destination—creating a fun surprise and opportunity to meet new people from the church family.
- Fellowship Encounter on the Green: An outdoor gathering featuring bonfires, camping, outdoor games like cornhole, food, and fellowship. This relaxed environment provides the perfect setting for conversation and connection.
- Annual Banquet: A special evening of good food, fun, and a chance to bid on auction items, with proceeds supporting church ministries.
- Service and Outreach Opportunities: Throughout the year, we organize various service projects such as backpack drives and community assistance initiatives, allowing our church family to make a difference together.
